Located in the heart of North Carolina, High Point University is a private, comprehensive institution rooted in the ideals of holistic education. The mission of HPU is to deliver educational experiences that enlighten, challenge and prepare students to lead lives of significance in complex global communities. With the creation of several new schools, majors and courses, students have a wide range of learning opportunities to prepare them for productive careers. HPU offers 46 majors and 46 minors. Students flock to High Point from 46 states and 30 countries, providing the school with great diversity in student history and experience. Yet, High Point offers its students a safe community that feels like home, where the average class size is 17 and professors don’t just know students’ names — they know who they are and who they want to become. Our 16 varsity teams play at the NCAA Division I level.
